TH signing in NYC 10/20/09

When I first found out about the signing I wasnt so sure that I'd be able to go, I asked my sister to take me and she agreed, but it wasnt 100% until literally the night before. I was like a nervous wreck that whole time haha.
But we left our house at around 6:30am, its about a 2 hr drive but it took us a little longer because we ran into some traffic and because our GPS was being wierd haha.
So I'm pretty sure we got there a little after 9am.
After meeting up with some friends (ilu guys so much, you have no idea), we went in to get our passes which thank god they had. Though I'm not really sure why I thought they'd sell out.. I mean 500 passes is A LOT.
They gave us these cool little laminated passes and wristbands so we could get in later, the passes looked like this:

Basically after that we have close to 8 hrs to waste.
So fast forward through a bunch of walking around, eating and talking. Everyone was basically really tired. They either slept there the night before or just didnt get very much sleep so for about an hour everyone just sorta chilled and napped :)
Meanwhile, through all this, people are walking by us and looking at us like WTF? haha it was so funny xD Best Buy had us like encaged in barricades so I basically everyone was wondering what was going on. Of course when you told them we're out there waiting for TH they were all like 'who?' lol.
Around 5pm I guess, everyone started getting a bit loud. Cheering at the buses that went by, etc. We actually got a pretty big audience of people on the other side of the street just sorta standing there watching us haha So of course we took that to our advantage and started chanting 'TOKIO HOTEL, TOKIO HOTEL' about a million times, screaming our heads off and singing songs.
I cant tell you how many people were taking pictures of us, it was ridiculous xD
THTV was there also ;)

The band was supposed to be coming at any minute, so everyone was on their toes looking for that certain black Escalade, which after about a half hour finally came.... but didnt stop xD They ended up driving around to the other side of the building to get in haha Oh well.

We were right in the front of the line, so we were just waiting for the employees to let us get in, which felt like forever and my legs were hurting from standing up. In that time I was thinking about an idea that I'd be going back and forth on doing for a while now. I was going to get Bill to draw a heart on the inside of my left wrist and then I'd get it tattooed ;) Of course when I asked my sister she said I shouldnt (shes not exactly a TH fan), but Melissa over heard what I was saying and she said she was thinking about doing the same thing with Tom. Of course thats all I needed, a little support about it to know I'm not totally crazy haha. I came to the conclusion that if she did it, I'd do it.. though I had no idea what I'd say to Bill and I'd probrobly choke anyways xD.
Basically they led us in and down some stairs so where we were we could see the signing table perfectly. We were trying to go through what we'd say and if we should do it. Right about then is when it hit me what was really about to happen. That TH was going to actually be there.. and then I started getting nervous x].
Sure enough the boys come out and everyone freaks out, including me. Now I dont really fangirl when around bands, but I felt like I was going to explode. I seriously fangirled you guys hahaha Which made it all the harder to think of going up to Bill and trying to talk to him lol.
We were the first group of people in, so they started letting us down the stairs.. now if you've ever been to a TH signing before you'd know that they go FAST. So me & Serra(my sister) came up with the plan that she'd go before me and tell Bill about what I want, so we kind of have double the time.. if that makes sense haha.
So walking down the stairs, people are taking pictures of us and THTV was filming.

My sister gets to Bill, hands him the cd cover and says 'My sister wants you to draw a heart on her wrist so she can get it tattooed on'. At this point I decided to stand next to her so he knew who she was talking about. He stopped, looked at me then looked at her and said in a THICK German accent (I dont think he was planning on talking to too many people because it looked like it caught him off guard haha) "a haaarrt?" (I wish I could describe to you better how he pronounced it but it was adorable) and Serra said "yeah, you know, a heart" and made a heart with her hands to show him. I put out my wrist and pointed to where I wanted it and said "like right here", so he looks at me and says "I cannot do that". Now I'm thinking he meant that he couldnt like touch anyone, you know? So I'm totally ready to tell him to fuck off because thats really stupid LOL So I'm like "why?" and he says to me, in the cutest accent, looking so innocent and adorable with this adorable smile on his face, "I am no good at drawing them". (CUE THE AWWWS) I literally went "awww! Its ok, I dont mind" and Serra said "well try to draw one on the booklet instead and she'll get it transfered onto her wrist". Then Serra had to go down the rest of the line because her cd booklet was all the way down by Gustav already xD haha So Bill says "Ok, I'll try" to me, signs his name and then drew this cute little heart on the top corner of the booklet. He took his time and really concintrated you guys. I thought I was melting. Then he looked at me and I said "thanks so much" and he smiled and passed it to Tom.
Tom signed it, I said thanks, Georg signed it, I said thanks (BTW JESSICA, Georg completley ignored me, can you believe that? I should kick his ass.. or you should kick his ass for me when you meet them ;D LOL), then Gustav signed it and held it out for me. I was in such a blur after the Bill incident though, so everything else was totally tuned out (I was also going on being up almost 24hrs haha). I didnt even realize he was holding it out to me even though I was watching each of them sign it like intently trying to capture all the details haha So finally I snapped out of it.. it had to only have been a few seconds, but still xD and I took it and said thanks. Now if I remember correctly, I think Gustav actually smiled a little at me O__O LOL.

After that it was just a bunch of girls screaming outside and telling their stories. It was amazing to hear. Melissa showed me how Tom signed her wrist and I told everyone what happened.
We then planned to find the back entrance and wait for them to come out ;)
But right when we were trying to figure out what to do, cute photographer boy (I cant think of his name atm haha) came over and told us he knew where they would come out. So obviously we followed him.. I think there was only 5 of us. Sure enough he leads us to the back entrance up against a small barracad next to their Escalade xD

So we just sorta chilled for a while. Tried not to gain too much attention because we were hoping to be the only ones out there so maybe we could get a pic with them or something. But sure enough all the crazy, loud fangirls ended up coming anyways.
We were trying to tell them to be quiet and not scream or nothing, but really, who wants to be screamed at? Celebrity or not. Its just sort of rude in the situation we were in. There wasnt anything stopping us from getting around the barricade, but you just stay where you're supposed to at of respect to the band. We were RIGHT THERE, there was no need for anyone to have to get any closer. But sure enough the more crazier ones went to the other side of the barricade and started fucking with the car and shit. Ugh.
Security eventually came out though and told them to leave. Then they had to put up extra barricades, which I helped with ;D The security guy was like 'good job' and gave me a thumbs up haha. I want to protect our bbs from the crazy fans because I love them and respect them. Dont get me wrong, not everyone there was crazy, but really it was just our group that was trying to tell everyone to shut up.
Finally the boys came out and since there were so many people there they basically ran to the car. Oh well. It was nice seeing them for a second :)

Once they got in the car the crazy fans started being crazy and blocking the road and shit. It was embarassing, ugh.

Overall, it was so worth it. So so so worth it.
I had SO much fun hanging with all my fellow TH lovers <3 I'm glad we finally got a chance to really hang out.
And of course I enjoyed meeting them haha
I had like a whole convo with Bill o__o that shocks me. You have no idea. The only way I could describe it was it felt like no one was in the room but me and Bill. I didnt hear anyone else, I didnt see anyone else, its so freakin weird. I think back and all I can see is him, I dont see or hear anything else haha. I mean, security could've been telling me to hurry up or something, but I honestly have no idea, because thats how much I tuned everything else out. It was like one of those moments when you realize that hes looking at ME, not a group of people. Hes talking to ME, not to a crowd. He was smiling at ME, I made him SMILE. He knows I exist. Its really surreal tbh. One of the best moments of my life, no lie. I'm so happy I went for it and got him to draw it because its seriously so adorable, wait till you see it. He looked so good also btw. Like even cuter than he was last year when I met him. I love his flaws the most and I always have, so him drawing me a wonky little heart is absolutely perfect. Even more perfect than if he draw a normal heart, because I saw the concintration on his face and I know that he really did try. Thats why I love it so much <3
I also talked to my mom about getting it tattooed and she said yes and that it'll be a Christmas present :) I have to wait until around Christmas though to get it done, but I dont care <3

& next time I will show Bill my tattoo ;)

Oh and just a little piece of advice for anyone whos gunna meet them, just pick a band member that you'd wanna talk to (works best with Bill or Tom), and think of something to say to them that would require them to say something back. If you just say hi, they'll just say hi and pass the cd over to the next person. Think of something to make them stop and answer you :) Dont be nervous, just spit it out so you dont regret not saying anything later haha.

Everytime I see TH, my whole body ends up hurting the next day.. but tbh, even though every muscle in my body aches, I couldnt be any happier <3
